How to Be Ready for Something New in Life

March 13, 2024 By Dr. Steven Fonso

Why worry about that if you can’t appreciate what you have right now.

And I don’t mean, ‘yeah, yeah, I am appreciative’ attitude.

I mean, heart moving, tear jerking appreciation for exactly as your life is right now.

If you don’t have the skill to move yourself right now..

If you lack the skill to go deep with yourself..

Then once you get the new thing, it will quickly lose novelty and the chase goes on.

You want to really be ready for something new?

Train yourself to see the beauty and order and grace right now.

In exactly who you are and what you have.

Draw yourself into a state of awe for the life you’ve built.

Invite yourself into a state of reverence for the people in your life.

Because once you do, you will see NOTHING IS MISSING.

And the ‘newness’ that you were getting pulled toward is right under your nose.

That newness is both how you experience what you CURRENTLY have..

AND that newness is the capacity to see how you’ve underutilized what you have.

In the quest for something outside of yourself and your existing life.

Get excited right now.

Get pumped for your connections.

Get jazzed for the resources you currently possess.

Build anticipation for maximizing what you previously took for granted.

Do this, and your life will become unstuck.

Cheers to your progress.
