Symptoms mean emotional attachments.
This is discussed in depth In a groundbreaking book, “Family Evaluation; the role of the family as an emotional unit that governs individual behaviour and development” by Dr. Murray Bowen.
It discusses how most symptoms, illness and disease are feedback loops to emotional disturbances within the self, also amplified by the stresses of the immediate family.
Symptoms, digestion, pain, or anxieties, are feedback to guide you to rearrange how you are perceiving something, making decisions around and behaving.
Just like pain on the hand by a hot stove is feedback for you to move your hand, symptoms in the body, regardless of what they are, are also feedback for you to think and move differently. Whether that movement takes place in your physical structure, your mind, your relationships or your life, it’s all the same, and ALL of it needs to be evaluated regularly.
Regularly.
It’s the only way you don’t get yourself behind in life.
